Brief History of
T.W. Builder, Inc
president:

In 1994 Thomas W. Callahan started out like all good greenhorns do, lugging boards. While on site his love for woodworking and building was overshadowed by his intrigue for electrical applications. He thought he had found his calling in electrical installation.
Thomas enjoyed working on upscale residential and commercial projects for a local licensed electrician for about 4 years. Here he learned the ins and outs of electricial diagrams, installation, and operations. He became an electrical mechanic while performing his duties. He managed crew members and project duties. He also learned the proper building proceedures while being on site everyday. Thomas wanted to do more with his new found knowledge. His love for designing & building began to emerge again.
The proper opportunity presented itself in 1998. While working for a large building firm in the area, he worked on some of the most beautiful high end homes on the delmarva pennisula. His work impressed clients and bosses alike, even the competition enough he was offered opportunities to work for several other builders. Throughout the time working under the license of another he ascended the corporate ladder. He reached the top rung for the local builder. He became a project manager. In 2002 he was presented with the opportunity to work as a sub-contractor for those high end building contractors seeking his work. T.W. Builder was officially started.
When the big "green movement" boom hit in 2003, Thomas found himself absorbed by the possibilties. He wanted to learn as much as he possibly could. Through education and hands on applications of green energy building solutions, GreEnergy Solutions Design & Build was a vision. Using a "green" building approach on his projects, he has come up with tried and proven green building plans, that offer real world results. In applying these designs he has discovered the benefits of "green building products & methods". Green energy building has become his passion.
